On August 31st I won the Nike 10km Race on Randells Island by 40secs on a hot evening in New York in a time that was totally irrelevant due to struggling to past the back runners on the second lap. There was no room to pass them.
I was presented the Winners trophy by American 2008 Olympic Flag bearer “Lopez Lomong” on stage just before the band “All American Rejects” came on stage.
