On April 29th in Central Park NY I competed in the Thomas G Labrecque Classic and finished 3rd behind New York resident Ethiopians Worku Beyi and Demesse Tefera.
After being dropped at 2 miles my time was 19min 16secs for 4 miles, going through the 2 miles in 9mins 21secs.
I then won the 2007 Cinco De Mayo 5km around Prospect park in Brooklyn NY 2 days ago (May 6th) outsprinting Ethiopian Genna Tufa and scored myself a mountain bike and a trip to Peurto Rico.
