New York Marathon 2009, Henwoods Hounds
“I began training with John in May 2009 after a knee injury. I had run many marathons before but had never had the structure and discipline of training with a formal running program. John helped me to bring my training to the next level with speed workouts and strength training that not only improved my times but also kept me healthy while training for New York. I was able to increase my mileage substantially without any further injuries. In November 2009, I ran New York in 2:56:30, a personal best by over 13 minutes! I have no doubt that the training I did with John and the team was what made the difference.”
