Improved marathon from 4:19 to 3:39 (40mins) . I love the team support. There’s no internal competition/conflict. I love Johns holistic approach to coaching. He believes in training the whole body, which includes mental toughness and a fair amount of strength training, stretching and mobility. His speed sessions are aggressive and can seem daunting. However every session you realize that you become stronger than the one before. I also like the confidence building session he proscribes leading up to races. When I first started with John I was severely injured, but with his smart training, I improved my races times almost immediately. When I recently experienced mental fatigue, he worked with me and helped me out of the rut I was in and now I’m on my way back becoming faster and stronger .
