Since joining the team in 2018, I reduced my 5k PR by 3mins to 17:36 in the first two months. My PR for the Half Marathon was 1:25, but John said he could get me under 3 hours for the full, even though I hadn’t run a Marathon before. I ran 2:48 for my first Marathon and 2:43 for my second. Johns focus on strength and ability to fix niggles before they become injuries was the key that allowed me to continue running healthy, and the support from him and the team allowed me to see past my own perceived limits.
