Hartford Marathon 2016
Before reaching out to John, my marathons the previous year weren’t seeing much improvement. I was in a rut and considering taking a break from marathoning. I decided to give it one more shot and got on one of John’s plans. In the short time working with John, my running has improved tremendously. In less than 5 months, I’ve set big personal bests in every distance from the 5k to the marathon. In my goal race, the Hartford marathon, I PR’d BY 10 MINUTES!
John devised a plan that made a world of a difference. I had one-on-one strength training with him weekly and I credit a lot of my improvement in these sessions. I also looked forward to the group speed sessions where I was able to get corrections on my form and meet some great runners. John has great advice for races to run and race strategy. I look forward to continuing working with John!
