Anyone who wants to run well without injury, needs a structured plan. I don’t believe in following a book for a training program. The book doesn’t answer back when you feel an injury coming on, get sick, or you’re stuck at work. What do you do if you miss three days training? Where do you start? What if the program is making you sore and is not working for you—who will change things around? There are so many reasons why you should not follow a book for a training plan. Someone needs to be there to help you though it and learn what you can handle as a runner, while you balance all the other activities in your life.
Please explore this site to learn more about my coaching philosophy and services, the Henwood Hounds Racing Team and some of the runners with whom I’ve worked, and feel free to contact me or read the frequently asked questions.
If you’re ready to improve your running, please contact us for information about our coaching plans. We’ll be in touch with a detailed questionnaire about your background and your goals, followed by a phone consultation. These will be the basis of your new customized training program.
