Joseph Scheier-Dolberg

Before I joined Henwood’s team, I was running about 20 miles per week and I kept getting derailed by injuries. In the nearly two years since, working under Henwood’s system and with Coach Joe’s guidance, I have built to about 50 miles per week and have gotten back into racing. Henwood’s emphasis on strength training, combined with Joe’s expertise and careful attention to detail, have allowed me to consistently build fitness, speed, and strength while avoiding injury. In my time with the team, I have run PRs in the mile, 5K, 10K, 10 mile, and the marathon (twice), the most recent result being a 7-minute BQ at NYC 2022. I couldn’t have done any of this without Henwood’s system and Joe’s coaching, which has been consistently thoughtful and matched to my specific needs. I feel enormously grateful to have this support as I chase my goals.
